During my childhood, access to computers was rapidly expanding and ye olde “homemade” personal websites were disappearing into larger platforms. I adored the old look of them, though, and loved the low bloat, absence of ads, and customizability. By the time I got a start on this in the early 2020s, though, the instructive HTML editors of the nineties with their WYSIWYG and “view markup codes” editors were long gone! Still, I had fun piecing together this place of mine.

Among my interests are genealogy, linguistics and constructed languages, general history, birdwatching, politics, theology, writing, and video games, so this site grows irregularly in those directions.
